Sling TV, the live streaming service owned by Dish, is offering a free preview of Showtime this Friday (December 9) through Sunday at midnight (December 12).
The free look is available to new and current subscribers. Showtime will automatically be added to the Sling TV on-screen guide during the preview dates.
Showtime normally costs $10.99 a month although the premium channel is now offering a special rate of $3.99 a month for the first six months with a 30-day free trial. See the Showtime web site or this article for more details.

Showtime offers a mix of original programming such as The L Word, Dexter, American Gigolo and Billions as well as theatrical movies, and live sports including boxing and Mixed Martial Arts matches.
Last Sunday, Showtime premiered the original series, George & Tammy, a drama based on the tumultuous musical and romantic partnership of Tammy Wynette and George Jones. Jessica Chastain and Michael Shannon star in the title roles.
