BestBuy.com is again selling a TCL 55-inch 4K TV for $199.99 — that is, if you’re a Best Buy member. (Membership is free with a valid e-mail address.)

The retailer offered the set for $199.99 two weeks ago, but the price rose to $249.99 after a few days. The $199.99 price is now available as part of Best Buy’s early Black Friday sale for members.

The Series 4 TCL set, model 55S434, has three HDMI inputs, Dolby Digital+ audio, a voice remote, Google Assistant, and built-in Chromecast which enables you to cast movies, shows and photos from your Android or iOS device to the TCL screen. (Note: This model comes with Android TV software, not Roku, as many other TCL sets do.)

The TV, which was first introduced in 2019, received an overall score of 6.8 at Rtings.com, which reviews televisions. This is what the site said about the 4-Series sets:

“It delivers decent picture quality and displays deep blacks in a dark room thanks to its high native contrast ratio. It can’t get very bright, and although it has decent reflection handling it isn’t suitable for a bright room. It lacks a wide color gamut, and due to its low HDR peak brightness, it can’t deliver HDR content with vivid colors and bright highlights. The response time is fast and the TV displays fast-moving content with very little blur trail. It offers a responsive gaming performance thanks to the low input lag but unfortunately, it lacks any support for advanced gaming features like FreeSync.”

Best Buy consumers have given the TCL TV a rating of 4.3 out of a possible 5, based on 223 reviews.
