Amazon’s Prime Day sale is underway and there may not be a better value than Sony’s 65-inch OLED 4K TV (model A8H). The set, which was $2,798 just last June, is available today for $1,798.

The OLED TV, whether it’s from LG or Sony, is regarded by many videophiles as offering the best picture on the market. This Sony 65-inch OLED set comes with the following features:

* Picture Processor X1 Ultimate: Sony says it brings out OLED’s unique contrast with pure blacks, peak brightness and natural colors;
* Oled + Pixel contrast booster to display more vibrant colors to complement the blacks;
* Game Mode for a smoother gaming experience:
* Smart Android TV with Google Assistant’s voice controls:
* Alexa voice assistant;
* Apple Airplay 2 and HomeKit support.

CNN’s review of the Sony OLED TV said “it’s a cinematic experience that we enjoyed and videophiles will especially like.”

The news site added: “It’s all packed into a stunning design that aims to be the centerpiece of your room. You can likely find a picture mode that works great for whatever you’re watching, and while you might ask for a brighter picture, we think you’ll still find the picture quality to pack a punch. Sound is also surprisingly good for actuators behind the display and support for the core three smart systems is impressive.”

At Amazon, consumers have given the set a 4.7 star rating based on 158 reviews.

“First things First: The moment i took this thing out the box it screamed Sex, Sleek, Elegant,” wrote one ‘verified buyer.’ “It didn’t stop there, i powered it up and ran through the 3 min set because i have an android account already. Launched my favorite shows on Netflix Altered Carbon in Dolby Vision and was greeted with Netflix calibrated mode which looked better than any set i have every seen. The colors just popped the motion was jag free and the contrast was just ridiculous.”
